Soccer Game Preview: South Dade vs. Central

The South Dade Buccaneers are taking a road trip to challenge the Central Rockets at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

South Dade's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They came out on top against Coral Gables by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Buccaneers.

Alan Gonzales and Damien Lucero scored both of South Dade's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Meanwhile, Central has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They and Northwestern finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw last Thursday.

South Dade pushed their record up to 7-1-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six games. Central's draw gives them a new season record of 0-3-2.
