Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brighton). Their defense stepped up to hand the Everett Vikings a 13-0 shutout on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for Brighton, who have now won six matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Brighton is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those seven contests. As for Everett, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15-1.

Looking ahead, Brighton will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against East Lansing at 7:00 p.m. Everett does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
