Basketball Recap: Bloomfield Christian School Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Bloomfield Christian School entered their game against Washtenaw Christian Academy on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bloomfield Christian School Defenders lost 78-58 to the Washtenaw Christian Academy Wildcats. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Defenders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-43 last Friday.

Bloomfield Christian School's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-4. As for Washtenaw Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Bloomfield Christian School will welcome Livingston Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Livingston Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Bloomfield Christian School likes a good challenge. As for Washtenaw Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Britton Deerfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Britton Deerfield is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.4 points per game this season.
