Basketball Recap: Cobden Appleknockers vs. Pope County Pirates

Cobden lost against Pope County back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cobden Appleknockers took a hard 53-36 fall against the Pope County Pirates. The Appleknockers were down 45-25 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

When it comes to explaining why Cobden lost, don't look at Natalie Franklin. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 boards.
