Chris Buendtner posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out five batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.
