Softball Recap: McQueen Comes Up Short

McQueen lost against Spanish Springs back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The McQueen Lancers fell 8-3 to the Spanish Springs Cougars. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McQueen saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Jaborski, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that Jaborski launched this season. Another was Montana Huitt, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

McQueen now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Spanish Springs, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

While McQueen had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
