Basketball Recap: Redmond Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

There's no place like home for Redmond, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They strolled past the Skyline Spartans with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 76-59. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Leading Redmond to victory were Iha Kasam and Sofia Locati. Kasam went 7-for-11 from beyond the arc to rack up 33 points along with seven rebounds and six steals, while Locati went 6-for-9 from beyond the arc on her way to 31 points and seven boards. Kasam's evening made it 13 games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalie West, who posted eight points in addition to seven boards and three blocks.

Redmond pushed their record up to 20-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Skyline, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season.

Redmond wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 75-44 win against Lincoln on the 15th. Skyline does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
