Volleyball Recap: Addilyn Durham Key Part of Team Effort in Achaeans Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Greenwood Christian Academy, Herron was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the Beech Grove Hornets with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Achaeans in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won three in a row.

Herron never let Beech Grove on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-23, 25-11.

Herron got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Addilyn Durham out in front who had seven digs and five kills. That's the most kills Durham has posted since back in August. Adriana Reel was another key player, getting seven digs and three aces.

Herron's record is now 10-5. As for Beech Grove, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.

Herron didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against University on the 16th. Beech Grove has also already played their next match (against Indianapolis Scecina Memorial), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
