Skyview is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will challenge the Aurora Central Trojans at 4:00 p.m. Skyview is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season.

Last Wednesday, it was close, but Skyview sidestepped Bishop Machebeuf for a 2-1 win. Skyview's winning goal came courtesy of Dominique Greening.

Meanwhile, after soaring to seven goals the game before, Aurora Central was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They came up short against Rangeview, falling 9-0.

Aurora Central was without their leading scorer, Verenice Pulido, in Monday's contest. With Pulido sitting this one out, Denise Gomez Mejia got some extra time on the pitch (80 vs. her season average of 60).

Aurora Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Skyview, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
