Volleyball Recap: Branham Beats Piedmont Hills for Their Third Straight Victory

Branham entered their tilt with Piedmont Hills on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pirates. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in April.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 25-19.

Andrew Casale paced Branham's offense, picking up eight kills. Casale got some help from Patrick Willson and his 28 assists. Finally, Satya Raman kept Branham's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Branham pushed their record up to 22-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Piedmont Hills, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-4 record.

Coming up, Branham will be playing in front of their home fans against Evergreen Valley at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Piedmont Hills, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Milpitas on the 2nd.
