Soccer Recap: Swain County Takes a Loss

Swain County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Murphy Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Murphy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Thursday.

Swain County's loss dropped their record down to 2-9-2. As for Murphy, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2-1.

Coincidentally, Swain County and Murphy will both be playing Andrews the next time they take the pitch. The Bulldogs will host the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Maroon Devils will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
