Sevastopol won the last time they faced Oconto and things went their way on Friday too. The Pioneers put the hurt on the Blue Devils with a sharp 17-7 win. Considering the Pioneers have won seven matches by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Sevastopol's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Oconto, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coming up, Sevastopol will challenge Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Pioneers 3.9, the Blazers 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Oconto, they have already played their next contest, a 6-3 victory against Bonduel on the 3rd.
