Recap: Delhi Bears vs. Block Bears
The Delhi Bears waltzed into their match on Friday with eight straight wins but they left with nine. They walked away with a 65-53 victory over Block. That's another feather in the cap for Delhi, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Jimmy Spruill, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jay Wright, who scored 18 points along with three steals.
Delhi has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a massive bump to their 17-7 record this season. As for Block, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Delhi will take on Delhi Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Delhi Charter is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games. As for Block, they will head out on the road to challenge Tensas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
