Softball Recap: Rockford Auburn Knights vs. Lutheran Crusaders
Rockford Auburn put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Lutheran Crusaders with a sharp 14-2 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.
Maylee Baker was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 4-for-4.
