Basketball Recap: West Deptford Comes Up Short

If West Deptford was riding high fresh off their 45-15 takedown of Maple Shade last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The West Deptford Eagles took a 51-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pennsauken Indians on Tuesday.

West Deptford dropped their record down to 5-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Pennsauken, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

West Deptford will square off against Woodbury at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pennsauken, they will face off against Pemberton at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Pennsauken is facing Pemberton at the right time seeing as Pemberton is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
