Baseball Recap: Reed Raiders vs. Spanish Springs Cougars
Reed took a 15-run loss the last time they faced off against Spanish Springs, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Raiders sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Cougars on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Raiders have posted against the Cougars since March 21, 2024.

Ryan Vanek made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out eight batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk).
