Soccer Recap: Huss Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Huss lost against South Point back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Huskies took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Raiders. While losing is never fun, Huss can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 222nd, while South Point are ranked 70th).

Huss has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4-1 record this season. As for South Point, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Huss will take on rival Forestview at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, South Point is set to challenge their familiar foe Crest at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
