Basketball Recap: Waldron Starts Season with Loss at Home

Waldron unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Morenci Bulldogs by a score of 40-38 on Tuesday. The Spartans have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Waldron will head out to face off against Pittsford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Morenci, they will venture away from home to take on Blissfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
