Softball Recap: Clinton Central Bulldogs vs. Eastern Comets
Clinton Central hadn't done well against Eastern recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 20-6 margin over the Comets. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bulldogs needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.
Nuriah Harvey made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with four runs and one RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high.
