Basketball Recap: Edgerton Comes Up Short

Edgerton was the 73-64 winner over Adrian/Ellsworth when they last played one another last Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Edgerton Flying Dutchmen fell just short of the Adrian/Ellsworth Dragons by a score of 45-43 on Tuesday. The game marked the Flying Dutchmen's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Edgerton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Adrian/Ellsworth, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edgerton will square off against Westbrook-Walnut Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Adrian/Ellsworth, they will take on Murray County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
