Football Game Preview: Fullerton Indians vs. Marina Vikings + How To Watch

The Fullerton Indians will challenge the Marina Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fullerton's defense has only allowed 13.1 points per game this season, so Marina's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Fullerton took a 28-point defeat the last time they faced off against Kennedy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Indians sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 17-14 win over the Fighting Irish on Friday.

Caden Wise was his usual excellent self, picking up 109 receiving yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 80 yards on only ten carries. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 80 yards.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Fullerton's defense and their three sacks. Wilson Aldana refused to say out of the backfield, picking up a sack all by himself. Fullerton got some further help from Aldana: he picked up a sack and made 15 total tackles.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marina). They blew past Valencia, posting a 35-7 victory. With the Vikings ahead 21-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Marina has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.8 points on average over those games. As for Fullerton, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.
