Football Recap: Everman Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Everman had lost three straight at home, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-8 to make it four. They came up short against the Mansfield Summit Jaguars, falling 33-7. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 708th, while the Jaguars are ranked 170th).

Princton Roberts threw for 36 yards on five of 11 attempts.

As for Mansfield Summit, their record is now 6-3. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won three contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

Ian Gebhardt was his usual excellent self, rushing for 88 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, while also throwing for 136 yards and one TD while completing 75% of his passes. Domonique(Dj) Young was another key receiver, picking up 93 receiving yards and one score.

Everman has already played their next matchup, a 41-12 loss against Burleson on the 7th. As for Mansfield Summit, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 23-22 defeat against Seguin on the 6th.
