While Westview's win against Mountainside wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Mavericks 3-2. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Mavericks recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Westview's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Mountainside, they moved to 10-4 with that loss, which also ended their nine-match winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Westview will face off against Sprague at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mountainside, after both having extra time off, they and Jesuit will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
