Baseball Recap: West Jessamine Comes Up Short

West Jessamine fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against George Rogers Clark on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 8-7.

Hayden Peters put in work no matter where he played. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
