Soccer Recap: West Point Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, West Point couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Northampton Yellowjackets on Thursday, falling 6-2. West Point have struggled against Northampton recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Luke Bystrek wasn't going to let Northampton walk away unscathed as he scored both of West Point's goals, bringing his season total up to 32 goals.

West Point's loss dropped their record down to 13-2. As for Northampton, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2-1.

As of now, neither West Point nor the Yellowjackets have any future games scheduled.
