Clinton has no trouble against Chapman

After losing to the Chapman Panthers the last time they met, the Clinton Red Devils decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Clinton enjoyed a cozy 37-21 victory over Chapman on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Clinton.

Clinton was led to victory by Mylayja Thompson and Bryanna Belton. Thompson scored 8 points along with 5 steals, while Belton scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Belton has scored at least 25% of Clinton's points. Zakalia Redd was another key contributor, scoring 5 points along with 5 rebounds.

Clinton's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Chapman, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Clinton will head out on the road to face off against Mid-Carolina at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mid-Carolina and Clinton are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Chapman, they will be playing at home against Belton-Honea Path at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
