Octorara Area waltzed into their match  on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Garden Spot Spartans 20-5. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Braves also won the last time the pair played  back in May of 2023.
Octorara Area got a  massive  performance out of  Presley Lazos, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Delaney Amole, who  scored four  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Octorara Area  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .571. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an  OBP of .559 or higher in three consecutive  contests.
Octorara Area's win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 9-5. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 19.3 runs over those games. As for Garden Spot,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-6.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Octorara Area will challenge Annville-Cleona at 4:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Braves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Dutchmen have averaged an impressive 10.1  runs per game this season. As for Garden Spot, they will take on Cocalico at 4:15  p.m.  on Wednesday.
