Volleyball Game Preview: Panguitch Bobcats vs. Parowan Rams

The Panguitch Bobcats will venture away from home to take on the Parowan Rams at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Parowan took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Panguitch, who comes in off a win.

On Saturday, Panguitch was able to grind out a solid victory over Carbon, taking the game 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Brooklyn Harland went supernova, getting 21 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Meanwhile, Parowan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against South Sevier, falling 3-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

While Parowan was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-13, 25-23.

Parowan now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Panguitch, their win bumped their record up to 19-4.

Panguitch took their victory against Parowan in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
