Baseball Recap: Karns' Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Halls, Karns was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the South-Doyle Cherokees a 3-0 shutout. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Beavers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Karns' win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for South-Doyle, they dropped their record down to 1-19-1 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.
