Volleyball Game Preview: Making Waves Academy Marlins vs. California School for the Deaf Eagles

For the second straight game, Making Waves Academy will face off against California School for the Deaf. The Marlins will face off against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

Making Waves Academy had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt California School for the Deaf on Thursday. The Marlins put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Marlins haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Making Waves Academy was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-10, 25-7.

Making Waves Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-17. As for California School for the Deaf, they are on a 19-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-23.
