A Season-Best Effort from Uriah Tenette Leads Prescott over Flagstaff

Prescott was led to victory by Uriah Tenette, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Tenette rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 228 yards and a touchdown while completing 78.9% of his passes.

The win was the fifth in a row for Prescott, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. Tenette and Prescott will head out on the road to take on Bradshaw Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Reighns Stokes Turns in Season-Best Effort

Sadly, Reighns Stokes posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Mingus over Bradshaw Mountain on Friday. Stokes rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 177 yards and two touchdowns.

Stokes will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Coconino on Friday. Stokes will face off against Colton Buckingham on Friday, the Panthers' star quarterback. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Adam Lloyd Makes It Two for Prescott

The second Prescott player making an appearance here is Adam Lloyd, and for good reason. He made six total tackles (2.0 for loss).

This year, Lloyd has averaged 6.9 total tackles per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to six.

Fernando Ramirez Delivers Electric Effort Vs Apache Junction

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Fernando Ramirez stepped things up a notch to give Coconino the 'W'. Ramirez was unstoppable, rushing for 84 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries.

Coconino now has a winning record of 4-3. Ramirez's next game is against Mingus on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Tuffy Callander Delivers Best Performance of Season

On Thursday, Flagstaff had to settle for second even though Tuffy Callander put up the best numbers he has all season. Callander wasn't messing around, forcing a fumble and making 13 total tackles. The contest was his seventh straight with five or more total tackles.

The defeat snapped Flagstaff's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-2 record. Callander and Flagstaff will take on Lee Williams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
