Soccer Recap: Madison County Takes a Loss

Madison County was the 2-1 winner over Clarke County when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Mountaineers fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 1-0 on Friday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Madison County haven't been shut out since back in April.

With the defeat, Madison County broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-6-1. As for Clarke County, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.
