Soccer Recap: Bayshore Takes a Loss

Bayshore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Southeast Seminoles. The shutout was out of character for the Bruins seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2024.

Bayshore's loss dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Southeast, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-10-2.

Bayshore will host Lakewood Ranch Preparatory Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southeast, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, an 8-0 defeat against Bradenton Christian on the 14th.
