Payson kept up with Provo until halftime on Tuesday, but afterwards: not so much. Provo was the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over Payson. It was an even better day for Fred Mendez Ortega as he scored three goals for his team.

The win made it two in a row for Provo and bumps their season record up to 4-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those two matches. As for Payson, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-2 record.
