Basketball Game Preview: Madison East Purgolders vs. Madison West Regents

Madison East is on a three-game streak of home losses, Madison West a 13-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. It'll be Eastside v. Westside when the Madison East Purgolders and the Madison West Regents meet at 7:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Saturday, Madison East came up short against Greenfield and fell 75-63.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 76-20, which was the final score in Madison West's tilt against Sun Prairie East on Thursday.

Madison East's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Madison West, their loss dropped their record down to 0-15.

Everything came up roses for Madison East against Madison West in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured an 86-24 victory. Will Madison East repeat their success, or does Madison West have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
