After losing to Exeter-West Greenwich the last time they met, Mt. Pleasant decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Kilties walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Scarlet Knights on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Kilties.

Mt. Pleasant's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Exeter-West Greenwich, they moved to 8-4 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Pleasant will head out to square off against Rogers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Kilties' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vikings have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season. As for Exeter-West Greenwich, they are taking a road trip to challenge Scituate at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
