Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Peaster walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Shallowater Mustangs on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Greyhounds as they're now sitting on 18 straight.
Bryleigh Bourland paced Peaster's offense, picking up 12 kills. Bourland got some help from Reagan Pennington and her 22 assists. Cashly Pennell controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Peaster's win bumped their record up to 38-12-1. As for Shallowater, with the defeat, they broke their 14-match winning streak and moved their record to 31-10.
Looking ahead, Peaster will square off against Bushland on Monday. Shallowater does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
