Lafayette is a perfect 10-0 against Jamestown since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rams will venture away from home to challenge the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Lafayette will be strutting in after a victory while Jamestown will be coming in after a defeat.

Lafayette was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Grafton on Friday. The Rams took their matchup with ease, bagging a 49-7 win over the Clippers. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-0.

Meanwhile, Jamestown played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Poquoson, falling 66-10. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 53-7.

Lafayette's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Jamestown, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Everything came up roses for Lafayette against Jamestown in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 58-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
