Section 4 C Division V recap Oct. 23, 2012
Chenango Forks extended the longest winning streak in Section 4 C Division V this week by beating Whitney Point, 33-0. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Greene and Norwich played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Greene eventually emerging with a 12-7 victory. Dan Treadwell ran for 80 yards in the win.
Patrick Vibbard and Nate McDonald gave Sidney a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Vibbard threw for 32 yards and one touchdown, while McDonald ran for 150 yards. Teammate Billy Kozak added to the ground attack by rushing for 111 yards.
Lane Whittaker was the best wideout in the league this week as the Trojans beat the Tornadoes. Whittaker racked up one reception for 25 yards. Joel Roselle helped Greene's passing attack out by catching one ball for eight yards.
Sidney's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Vibbard has thrown for 602 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Kozak has nine catches for 254 yards. McDonald leads the league in rushing with 802 yards.
Chenango Forks led the league in scoring this week after putting up 33 points on the Eagles.
