Baseball Recap: Manzanola Comes Up Short

Manzanola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 18-0 to the Eads Eagles. If the Bobcats were looking for revenge after losing 24-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Manzanola's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Manzanola Bobcats take on McClave Cardinals at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Eads, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Holly at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Holly has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.75 runs per game on average), something Eads will no doubt try to take advantage of.
