Alice and Victoria West squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Alice had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 63-13 loss at the hands of the Victoria West Warriors. The Coyotes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
Although Alice took the loss, they still got scores from Landon Guerra and Ryder Salaiz.
Jenesis Jeffries continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Victoria West, rushing for 151 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. Dominick Martinez was another key player, throwing for 234 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76% of his passes.
The loss snapped Alice's winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 8-4 record. As for Victoria West, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.
