Preview: Providence Catholic Provets vs. TMI-Episcopal Panthers

The Providence Catholic Provets will take on the TMI-Episcopal Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Providence Catholic has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Providence Catholic suffered their biggest defeat since December 2, 2023 on Wednesday. They were the victim of a rough 62-37 loss at the hands of St. Anthony. Providence Catholic found out winning isn't easy when you don't work as a unit and post 17 fewer assists than your opponent.
Providence Catholic's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Lorena Serrano, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds, and Isabella Otero who scored nine points. Serrano continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 54-13, which was the final score in TMI-Episcopal's tilt against St. Anthony on Friday. TMI-Episcopal has not had much luck with St. Anthony recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Providence Catholic has been struggling recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season. As for TMI-Episcopal, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.
