Football Recap: Fairmont Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Fairmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 24-23 heartbreaker at the hands of the La Salle Lancers. That's two games in a row now that the Firebirds have lost by just one point.

Fairmont's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for La Salle, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Fairmont and La Salle will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Firebirds are set to challenge their familiar foe Centerville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, La Salle will square off against rival Elder at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
