Volleyball Recap: Lyons Takes a Loss

Lyons was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ellinwood Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-10.

Lyons' loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Ellinwood, the win keeps them at an undefeated 19-0.

Lyons didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Sterling on the 27th. As for Ellinwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Chaparral on the 27th.
