Softball Recap: Riverside Panthers vs. Neshannock Lancers
Thursday just wasn't the day for Riverside's offense. They fell victim to a rough 10-0 defeat at the hands of the Neshannock Lancers on Thursday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Riverside in their matchups with Neshannock: they've now lost nine in a row.
For Neshannock's part, Miley Anderson was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Ali Giordano, who went 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Riverside will look to defend their home field on Monday against Shenango at 4:00 p.m. As for Neshannock, they will head out on the road to square off against Laurel at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Neshannock is looking to tack on another W to their nine-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
