Basketball Recap: Troy Takes a Loss

Troy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 74-56 to the Oak Park Knights, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Colts were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2019.

Troy now has a losing record at 3-4.

Troy will take on Howell at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Troy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Howell likes a good challenge. As for Oak Park, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against University Prep Art & Design at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
