Coahoma waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They strolled past the Valley Patriots with points to spare, taking the game 54-36.

Valley's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Corbin Taylor, who went 6 for 10 on his way to 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Tucker, who went 5 of 6 on his way to 10 points.

The victory got Coahoma back to even at 7-7. As for Valley, the loss snapped their winning streak at 15 games and leaves them with a 15-2 record.

Coahoma didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-57 win against Seagraves on the 28th. Valley has also already played their next contest, a 41-34 victory against Wellington on the 27th.
