Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors vs. Old Plank Christian Academy Defenders

Trinity Christian Academy is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Impact Christian Academy on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Trinity Christian Academy came up short against Impact Christian Academy, falling 48-24. The Conquerors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Old Plank Christian Academy). They strolled past St. Joseph Academy with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 48-29. The victory was nothing new for the Defenders as they're now sitting on three straight.

Trinity Christian Academy better keep an eye on Jenna Jiannuzzi. She was instrumental in Old Plank Christian Academy's win, dropping a double-double on ten points and 17 boards. Jiannuzzi is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least nine every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Mia Wilkins, who posted 13 points and five rebounds.

Old Plank Christian Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-3. As for Trinity Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Trinity Christian Academy might still be hurting after the 43-20 defeat they got from Old Plank Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Trinity Christian Academy was down 32-2.
