Myers Park piles up the points against Word of God Christian Academy

The Myers Park Mustangs had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 60-27 win over Word of God Christian Academy on the road. This was payback for Myers Park, who suffered a 78-48 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Myers Park had a senior duo take command as Jacob Paraison scored 15 points along with 9 rebounds and Sir Mohammed scored 15 points along with 9 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Sadiq White Jr., who scored 10 points along with 7 rebounds.
Myers Park's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Word of God Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.
Myers Park will take on Paul VI at 8:45 p.m. on Saturday. Word of God Christian Academy will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Quality Education Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 6th.
