Softball Recap: 14 Straight Home Victories for Riesel

Riesel entered their tilt with Dawson on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Bulldogs 11-1. 11 seems to be a good number for the Indians as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Sveva Mariotti was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one triple. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. Another player making a difference was Landri Pick (Georgia Tech), who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs.

Riesel always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .607. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dawson only posted an OBP of .300.
